Economic Strategies, Inc. provides a highly focused advisory service to international financial institutions based in North America, Europe, Asia and major emerging markets, analyzing global economic developments and their likely effect on major financial markets.

Timeframe: We focus on a 3 to 6 month horizon.  We do not analyze daily moves, nor changes over the next five years; our service is aimed at finding significant market opportunities that investors can use.

Analytical framework: We provide a framework for interpreting differences between market expectations and economic reality. We concentrate on factors that are not yet included or inaccurately reflected in the expectations of market participants and that will lead to changes in expectations and move the market.

Sources: We use various information sources, from proprietary quantitative models to continued conversations with financial market participants, government and central bank officials, and experts at public research institutes and private firms. We also assess the probable reaction of government and central bank authorities to the data.
